I'm very new to web design. I was on a site recently http://www.dhtmlnirvana.com. I noticed when I minimized the browser window, the window with the web content was still open. It looked like it was a seperate window from the main gateway to the site. How is this done.

Please check out the site to understand what I am talking about.

This is a chromeless window you can find many samples of this code all over the web.

IT's actually a hack with IE's "fullscreen" mode. Whereby you pop a window fullscreen and then resize it. The annoying thing is you have no controls over the window by default (close, the ability to move, whatever) so you need to code all controls into it.
