Hello asylum, guess I'm seeking help;

I've written a circular menu system and wan't to know if it works on a mac.
If someone would like to send me one of those little iBook things I'd be most grateful ;-)

on the otherhand just a yes it works would be nice.

It works on a PC, tested with IE6/Mozilla RC3

Just visit the page and click your mouse button (I hope).

Comments, suggestions welcome

The same here, plain text, no background, latinish (I don't know latin so I can't say it is readable latin :-). Win98-IE6.0

Well I don't think there is a question of aethetics here just if the menu works on MAC.

I am on Win98/IE6 and when you mouse over the "more..." and "links" the menu moves and I am unable to click on the link. Everything else seems to work but it does take me to a "Page Not Found"

where are my manners, "Welcome to the Asylum". You work for Micro Warehouse? The company that I work for gets all of our stuff from you guys. Enjoy your stay and stick around and have fun.

hehe, I get it now. That is pretty cool but it is a little quirky.

When you mouse over the "more. . . " the menu moves but does give you more options. When it moves it makes the "experiece" a little strange. Also, it is a little difficult to realize that there are other links there.

Nice that you added an entry for the Asylum in your "External" links.

Neat concept. It's coming along. Now if we could just get some Mac people over here to see if it works. I know there are a few and Jeni just got a new G4 I beleive.

some explanation.... (the latin(ish) text is Lorem Ipsum - have a search on google - it doesn't mean anything - just something to put in the background)

the idea of the menus is that the options form a circle around the mouse pointer (this won't work for long lists so a normal stacked linear list is used in these cases)

When hover over one of the options to open a new menu, the new menu is again centered about the mouse pointer - I should probably put an arrow in or something to indicate which options open new menus...

Use your left mouse button to click open the menu, and the menu will stay until you click on an option or somewhere off the menu.

Use your right mouse button and as long as you hold the button down the menu will stay up.

I like the idea, but it is pretty hard to get a grasp of the menu system without some kind of 'instructions' or 'help' system. But with some work it could become great

Tested it on IE6.0, NS6 and Opera6 on a winXP. It worked on all of the browser except Opera6, but few scripts work with that browser
