Can anyone help me to figure out why a dropdown menu doesn't work in Netscape

is there anything wrong with this? or do these just not work in netscape?

That code works fine in Netscape. The problem is probably located somewhere else on the page, so you'll have to show us complete page (post link to it it, don't show us just html code)...

to the best of my knowledge, there has never been any problems with dropdown menus and netscape

and for that matter, your code snippet seems to produce the desired effect on every flavour of ns that I've got installed

perhaps its a problem somewhere else in your code thats preventing ns from rendering the select properly?
