I have a JavaScript for getting the time when a certain form is submitted. The script has been tested numerous times (in-house and by other users) and is rock-solid. Except for one user. This user says that her system time is correct, and that our script is setting the time one hour back. Would JavaScript have any problem with time (one hour back) on her Mac versus the typical user PC?

Could it be a time zone issue?

Same time zone. This one has me thoroughly baffled. Her Mac's clock shows the correct time... but the JavaScript displays the time as one hour back. And this only happens on her Mac... the Windows users in her office show the time as matching correctly.

I don't know the answer but I do remember a friend doing some work with Javascript date operations a while back. He discovered that some browser/platform combinations had a bug when it came to the date. You might want to search for something like. If I remember any more details I'll let you know.
