ok, so I found this cool div scroller written by this guy named geeeet, (no joke) and I really like it. I took kukus's advice on how to add a multi div script to it (thanx Mr. Max!) and it works url great in ie 5+ and Netscape 6+.

Opera doesn't like it. This is now out of my javascript realm. Is there a way to make this work in Opera?

It also seems that NN4 doesn't support multi-divs well. Any way around this??

Without actually looking at the source code, I would have to say your chances of getting it compatible with Opera and NN4 are slim to none. Several of us have tried and given up on total cross-browser compatibility. This is not because we don't want to do it, it's because in some cases the features just are not supported in said browser. So often you miss out on some of the cooler possibilities the more cross-browser you make the code.

When you say "Opera," what version are you referring to? It might work on the Opera 7 beta. It most defintely won't work on any earlier version, since they don't support the DOM or related things like innerHTML.

Oh, and NN4 doesn't mix with DHTML scrollers. I saw one that worked in NN 4 once. It was many hundreds of lines long. And would have to be rewritten to work in Mozilla, if I could even find it again. Trust me on this; don't bother with it in NN 4.
