Does anyone know of any good debugging tools/apps for JavaScripts?

Somebody mentioned that Mozilla had a debugging tool but there's got to be a better way of checking your code. :-/

Did you even try Mozilla's javascript debugger and console?

Of course! I'm just collecting alternatives here. Don't like to put all my eggs in one basket, you know? ;-)

We have done so.

In other words the answer is "not that we know of" unless you want to script them yourself.

A co-worker sent us a mail few days ago, about Microsoft Script Debugger. He seems to uses it to debug some code in modalDialog and such.

Anyway I haven't yet installed it I usually put my hopes in some good old document.body.style.backgroundColor changes or alert( 1 ); alert( 2 ) ...

Whatever, if someone feels ok to enlight me on how to use VENCKMAN ( Mozilla's javascript debugger ), I'm all open.

I usually just use alert()s and the little trick mentioned here by reitsma (which I believe he got from me originally). On rare occasions, I've used the Mozilla JavaScript Debugger, but I find it a little too clunky usually.
