Hi,
Could somebody please help? how do i go about hiding the source code on a form page to stop people viewing the email address (at present it is being abused!) simplest way please.

TanGoZ: You could encode it but I'm not sure why you aren't doing this server-side and there would be no need to have your email visible (but I may be missing something as I can't see the page ).

Encoding it, as with the big javascript method, isn't worth it. Editing it is a pain, and search engines won't index it.

Dont really know anything about server side, could you please help/explain, im using Mats FormMail to process form if that helps

Don't use Matt's. It has severe security issues. People can send out tons of spam through it and it will appear as though it were coming from you. It has happened to me.

Either employ a version set up by your host, which most hosts have (if it's still faulty, it's their fault), or use a drop-in replacement found here.

Would something such as the following be an effective way of masking email address...

or would it have to taken even farther and written out in JavaScript, explained in the example slime linked above. I just hoping this might be a sufficient way that also wasn?t dependent on whether JS was enabled on the client browser???

I wrote out the entire email address in the &#char format but it got translated when I submitted it.

I?m hoping to write the email address in the format of...
