We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.

Would it not be possible to port the whole code over, obviously a lot more work. JS is similar to Java so it wouldn't be crazilly hard. But I still dont understand why passing the info takes that long, are you sending the values in 3D or 2D ? I cant imagine a few hundred integers takin up too much time to pass through. Interesting none the less. Maybe it would be a faster passed if it where compressed in some way, a few strings maybe faster, who knows how the system is setup. How long does it take to lets say pass a 200x200 image ? .. could be worth the wait, Slime's POV-ray is sweet :P (despite not knowing how a POVray system is different to any other method, I'll look that up sometime)

unfortunate, ah well, its a pity JS and Java dont use the same memory heap, java could be used to calculate stuff faster than in JS, and there would be no need for passing really. I doubt it would cause any security holes or conflicts(well minor complications) me self.

I wrote my own reytracer (nothing like as good as slimes new one though). Take a look @ kimber-ja.demon.co.uk/5KWraytracer.html and if youd like Id be happy to help try to format strings in a way that would make it easier to pass to java. Keep up the good work, it sounds interesting, but didnt seem to work for me on IE. Oh well.

Go to kimber-ja.demon.co.uk and click on the link to the raytracer! It's mine!
