I finally finished the layout part of my site. www.rwcenter.co.nr

It is not crossbrowser at all, so you will need IE 6 (or IE 5.5, don't know) to view it properly.
The content is heavily under construction, but the layout is basically done, except for some images (notice the hide buttons still look abominable), and the top and bottom 23 pixels of any page are always clipped.

No. I posted about this in an earlier thread. I just wanted to say, thanks for the no help, and, well, here's the finished site.

I'll be sure to pass your complaint on to the management.

If you want some practical advice, under the assumption that you're referring to http://www.ozoneasylum.com/Forum2/HTML/002239.html , I'd say you asked for too much. The original question was OK, although a link to the site in your original post would have offered more motivation to help solve the problem. However, in your final post, which went unanswered, you asked for a lot more than most of us are willing to take the time to do. The site isn't small, and you were asking pretty general questions about it. It looked like the sort of thing that one would have to spend an hour or two on, looking through and understanding the code and the site organization, and no one wants to do that.

Specific questions are better. And then, of course, there's always the factor of how fun it would be to answer the question which was asked (personally, I'd rather answer a question about a problem with, say, a regular expression than a general one like "how do i make this work on older browsers".)

At the end of the day, no one's *required* to help anyone else out, and I think there was a lack of motivation in this case.

Hub-izer: Ahhhhh I see. Well how about sharing the solutions to your question so someone else in a similar position to you can get a point in the right direction?

Slime: Heh. I was not complaining at all, more joking. Actually, this site is a very valuable resource on DHTML, together with www.youngpup.net, and www.twinhelix.com for the DOM browser.

Emperor: You can just view source the site, it's all there, though main.css and funcs.js are important too.

Aside from that, how do you guys like the site?

It is progressing well.
It shows up perfectly in IE 5-6.
Could anyone please send me screenshots if you have the following browsers:
IE 3-4, up to 5
NS, any version (also Mozilla), anything from 4 and up to the latest
Safari
Knoqueror, any version
Any other browser

Thanks.

Let me put it this way, I don't want to pay if I can help it.
No, actually, I just don't want to pay, period.

then you get what you pay for....
But i suggest open a new thread in the "site review section" and ask for a review and ask people to send you some screenshots. Or install all those browsers yourself (except IE you can only have one version of that).
