Topic awaiting preservation: vbscript and writing to registry (Page 1 of 1)

I need to write a value to a registry key in VBScript. It's been a long time since I've done this and can't remember how. I googled it already to no avail.

I just have a bunch of people that need to do this and instead of them screwing up their computers I would rather send them a script to do it for them.

Say the location is: HKLM\Software\Mysoftware\
and the key I need to change is a string value for the Key "IO". I just need to add a number to this stinking key.
