That's great InI. I really like the brushstrokes on the left cheekbone (our left) and the ears. Keep it up!

Just a comment or two with some questions as well...

It's a bit blurry in areas... but of course... it's a wip, so no real point in beating on that.
Not sure what direction you're looking to go here as far as style...
I think it could be interesting a little way's down the road, however... depth should really be your next point of interest. Flesh it out more before diving in on any one particular area.
That moustache seems absurd to me at the moment... but I suppose I'll have to wait with everyone else to see how it plays out.
It's not the moustache itself that's bothering me... but rather the "position" it's in.
Not sure how you made the eyes.... in my opinion it doesn't look painted. Painted over something else done in PS, possibly... but not painted out-right. It 'feels' weird. Little portions here and there on the entire thing feel weird, actually.
Which brings me to another question..... are you using Painter?... or PS? I suppose it'd be a better guess if I said Painter. Just wondering tho. I haven't spent a great deal of time with it.
Overall the thing is really screamin' at me like it's got filters ran on it underneath a lot of the portions. Not sure why I say that...... it just doesn't strike me well.
I think my feeling on that stems from the awkward colour selection in some areas as well as some brush strokes... and distorted or "over-sharpenized" bits n' pieces.
I'm not sure why you chose this backdrop to paint on... and I think that's got something to do with some of my opinions as well.

Keep thumpin on it... flesh it out some more...
Needs some depth and some other colours playing it up and down, in my opinion.

Looking good. So far (at number 6) I could say that the ears are a bit squished vertically as well as being diffrent sized (they should go from the mouth to the eyes). Also, with some minor tweaking, you could get the eyes to be symmetrical, and they are lacking a retina.

Painting is alot of fun isnt it, looks like a sun god type guy, i like it.

the latest version is better but the 'stash aint working for me, it looks too flat compared to the rest of the face and id like to see a definite line around the chin, its really muddy in some places.
