Just to note right off... if the paper is "tight", then you might not actually see much of a hole; if any. Unless it's a fair sized object going through it. |

Try getting a piece of paper and poking a pen or your finger through it. You should get a pretty good idea of what it should look like. |

One thing to keep in mind is that your tear-aways are going to form a rough "whole" of your hole when they're bent back in. Silence is right about the elasticity of paper, especially when held taut. |
