And I have attempeted it with little success (so poor it's not worth showing) now I need help.... Have a background i made (just simple) using render clouds and lighting effects....now I want to make a hole through that and have tenticles look that lther are coming out of the large hole in the middle.... I am kinda lost, I know how to make tenticles... but I don't know how to give them the perspective of coming out of the hole.... or how to make the hole.... help please. Thanks.
DL-44 Maniac (V) Inmate From: under the bed Insane since: Feb 2000	posted 10-23-2003 02:14 1) sketch it out on paper. 2) examine what techniques and what placements of light/shadow, and what use of line/form make it appear to be coming through the paper/background. 3) then and only then try to adapt those techniques to Photoshop - figure out how to make a shape fitting for your hole....how to add the shadows, highlights, etc... I can't stress this enough - you have to understand the idea before you can adapt the idea to photoshop. Making this type of drawing/painting is not a "photoshop" thing. It is an "art" thing. Make sense?
