I would like information as to achieving the reflected look on an object that is rougly the same look as the sample image taken from a popular Winamp skin. I want to be able to have the sort of "raised glass" effect near the edges of the object. I have already read Doc Ozone's tutorial on glass but I don't think it is quite the effect I need in this instance. If anyone can think of a way to help with this I'd appreciate it.

Hope the UBB works for this link.

Well just hit the glass-o-reflecto button.

Some versions of PhotoShop don't come with the "Creativity Filters" though...in that case, you'll just need to...well...look.

Look?

Ah yes....look.

It really is the answer to your question.

Look closely at both the image you posted, and those that DG psoted.

There are some *very* distinct shapes that make those reflections in all of them. While you're at it, take the time to look at some real life examples, and you will more likely than not find the exact same types of shapes causing reflections in objects all around you =)

It's as simple as it sounds, really.

Armen: Well post what you have managed to do so far and the good people here will give you feedback on it. Don't worry if it doesn't look great yet the important thing is that you have made an effort and are looking for ways to improve it
