I have to make an SVG drawing with a color that's PMS193, from Pantone Matching System, this color is named "Old Glory Red" (the color of the US Flag). |

viol: At first sight, I'd say that the type of Pantone(R) you're looking for is an uncoated or a matte one. In regard of the name of your color, PMS193, I'd go for the Pantone(R) solid matte 193 M that is 44,64,23 in the L,a,b color system according to Photoshop 7. |

clicking on "custom" in your color picker should pop open the pantone color selection as well. |

On Similar lines, I wanted to know how do I find the RGB equivalent for a PMS colour ie, if I had to convert a PMS Colour to an equivalent RGB/ websafe colour , how do I do that in Photoshop ? |

Iris: Exactly the same way. Go and pick your Pantone in the Custom Colors panel, and voilà, you've got the HSB, Lab, RGB and CMYK equivalent. Click on the smallest square showing your color to get the closest websafe color. |
