Topic: stupid table question: (Page 1 of 1)

I am laying out a desing using tables and I have it designed as so (please tell me if im doing it wrong)
1 table with 2 columns
column "a" is my menu bar which has 2 tables in it
column "b" is my content page which has 3 columns in it

Now the tables are not aligning directly at the top of its column and i've tried several things but i still get
uneven tables. (i.e. the text in column a and b arent aligning even. one is always below the other.

What is the fix for this or am I going about it all wrong?

You mean the text in the cells is not aligning the way you want vertically? If that's the problem then you should use the valign attribute in your TD tags. It's hard to know without a better description or a link to look at your code.
