Im trying to figure the best configuration for tables im using.

Im in the process of making this site:
www.dfpunk.com/

I want to place a Box for News and a Box for Links to archived news or something else. I want to get ya'll's opinion on the subject. How do you think i should go with this design

Patrick: if you must use tables then I'd go for:

    <td colspan="2">

    TOP STUFF

    </td>

  </tr>

  <tr>

    <td>

    NEWS

    </td>

    <td>

    LINKS

    </td>

  </tr>

</table>

Use the simplest tabes that you can and then DIVs for the other structural boxes.

Well Emps would probably freak at some of my table layouts

I usually make one big table to nest all of the inner tables in. It works for me and gives me a little more control over the inner tables.

Hehe..just make sure you don't make any 'famous last statements'...or grab a pair of SBs underwear...
