I can't get why the blue menu-color ain't workin in Netscape..
Anyone knows?

Try adding background-color: color value; to the menu class.

If you're referring to Netscape Navigator 4, keep in mind that it only supports the general "background" CSS property, and not background-image, background-color, or any of those.
