In IE there is a border of about 2 pixels that gives the 3d effect to the page that follows the outside of the page in a browser. If you look directly to the right of the scroll bar where you see the lighter color, you will see what I am talking about. I have seen that on a couple pages where it has been removed. (Ex: microbians.com, if you click on the first drop down box and select "Four Spores" the page that pops up has the title bar and a small border around the page but no beveled 3d effect. Can anyone help me to find the code to get rid of this border? I have looked around but have turned up empty-handed.

Thanks, Brandon

Hmm, I read about that effect on a web page recently... if I recall correctly they used something like

body { border: 0; }

in their style sheet. It's worth a try at least

Wow! It works!

(Execute this javascript:

document.body.border = '0px';

with this bookmarklet:

javascript:var c='',r=''; while(c=prompt(r+'Enter the code to be executed:',c)){r='The return value was '+eval(c)+'.\n';}void(0);

)
