Hi, guys. How are you?
I am ashamed to ask you but...
How can I force two words not to break into two lines.
For example, I want to show Bruce Willis on the same line not Willis on the next line.
I am looking for it on the web but not found yet.
Any help will be great.
cheers

hm.

off hand I'm not sure. There was the <nobr> tag, and the 'nowrap' attribute...not sure if they are still around. Try searching the w3c for either or both of those terms for starters...

You can use a non-breaking space to separate the two words, like so:

Bruce&amp;nbsp;Willis

Or, if you're dealing with larger amounts of text, use the CSS whitespace attribute:

white-space:nowrap;

Haha, yeah, it seems we use that character so much for hacks that we forget what it's actually useful for =)

Hi, Slime. Yes, nbsp; was what I was looking for.
I was sure I could do something about it. But just couldn't remember what it was.
Many many thanks to you.
Cheers,
