While, this relates more to graphics than HTML or CSS, I have a suggestion. Perhaps you could adjust the brightness and contrast of the photo in a graphics program such as Photoshop (or whatever you prefer). The image sticks out because its a little too bright. Darkening it a bit will help it blend into the black and (hopefully) not look so awkward. Loading...
