hey, i was on a website, i forgotten which, and i checked out the srouce code. they had a whole bunch of these <nobr> tags all over the place inbetween lines of code defining images.

I had just never seen that tag before, and I thought it was interesting. It makes sense! Often times in tables while using a lot of lines to organize things well extra spaces pop up where you don't want them. <nobr> apprently fixes that. Very cool.

Just thought I'd share that.

Or even better: use the CSS equivalent "white-space: nowrap;"

Besides all that you can also replace all spaces in the sentence with &amp;nbsp; (nbsp = non-breaking space) and you'll achieve the same thing. Also, you can add NOWRAP attribute to the <TD> tags (i.e. <TD NOWRAP> )...
