Depending on what exactly you want to do, the answer may be much simpler. If the text you refer to is a link, for example, you can just put the title attribute in the link: <a href="#" title="Tude the Programmer">Tude</a>

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
Don't follow his example - seek real life help first.

OK, Tude, I looked at the page above, and I think I understand what you want to do. OK, so the text is not a link. That's fine--we can apply the title attribute to a paragraph as well:

<p title="Tude the Viking">Tude</p>

This takes advantage of the ability of most major browsers (IE, Netscape, Opera, etc.) to display "tooltips" for text. It requires no real "coding" per se. My only reservation here is that "Tude" is simply plain text--there is no reason a user would think to mouseover the text to see more information. That's why I was wondering if it was a link. If you really want the user to mouseover the text, you might want to differentiate it somehow.

Thanx for all the replys folks...

InI--> I fully understand your point. The thing is that I have to get it finished this weekend therefor the question for someone to "do it for me". Of course I would have taken the time and learned from it to. But absolutley...the best way to learn is to try and fail and fail and fail and learn from your misstakes....=)

Lul this was a good idea and I think i will use it until I figured out the other way...=)

Thanx alot..
