---------------> The topic I quit. Sob :( I'm quitting Colombus. In Colombus, I was an independent teacher-developer, with good contacts to big companies, but a low salary. By being an independent related to Colombus, I had no social charges paid by the company, etc.. And I didn't cost a thing. Also, I didn't exist for the financial state department, and am almost a shadow. ---------------> What happened at Colombus I worked for Colombus for almost a year without getting a steady & reliable salary (nov.99 to dec.2000), then I got a "per-hour" salary, since I meant to quit the company, and it went on.. But average 2800 euros aren't a big thing in Switzerland. The basic room maid gets 2000 euros, and you can't live here with less than 1200. ---------------> Don't feel self-confident at this point I haven't been very reliable to Colombus, since the conditions were weird. I was at school by night, work by day, and although I produced lots of high quality programs and gave lot of courses, couldn't accept being attached to a FIX function with NON-FIX pay. Now, I'm heading towards a 100% function in a public bank with average 4800 euros as basic pay. And I had to tell my boss I was about to quit. ---------------> Need some help to get me back on the track I'd like to be sure I'll be 100% reliable in my new function (I feel like it), but I think this is a matter of being and feeling respected, which I wasn't in Colombus. What do you think? Flames are welcome, positive comments too.
