Another advice (dare I), your project should start on a well defined basis: if you're planning to do it in 1,5 month, and you do in three, you divide your incoming by 2 (and the client won't be happy). Define a plan with your client, saying exactly which features and delay, so if he asks for more features, you can ask for another delay and more money. Otherwise, you could have clients playing the "yeah, well.. but it should have been done one week ago, I want more features" or "fine, but we got time left, why not adding this and that". And you'll end up doing the same website forever, for the intial price. Last thing: never do "this" or "that" as a demo, never work for free, before the client has agreed or signed. You can "show" such demo works but make sure the client won't be able to keep them or copy them easilly. my 2 cents..
