I got a small home network setup, and ready to run what I need. I spent two years working as a trainer/developper for a consulting group, two years for a cable isp as a db admin, and in various departments of the same isp as a tech support, including supporting the medium business customers. And although doubt was there on occasions, I've been a faitfull employee. Anyway, I'm now working 36 hours a week, and studying for about 24 hours, all weekdays, not friday, but saturday morning. [drum roll] Now, lucky me, an old rich friend would like to mount a company, actually, he would like ME to start my own business. And he says we don't "have to have a benefits plan for the first year, just make a name during the first times". And I got a business owner for the same kind of idea I want to launch in my contacts too. I got the best of computer graphics in my contacts, and some developper's experience with Oracle, MS SQL, And smaller databse systems such as MySql and Access. And I am no joke. Besides, the business I want to put together would be very interesting, something rather new in my country and easy to commercialise, the initial costs and employees would be... me, and nothing. And the budget is very flexible and comfortable. Considering I am doing my studies at night, but can really benefit this considerable loan from someone I've been trusting for years, and vice versa, considering I got all the contacts to hire easilly, considering I can use this to create partnerships with schools, etc.. Considering there would be no financial problem for me for the first year, no black clouds, and full work time to develop and market the idea... What would you do?
