I just have a quick question for you guys...if you were doing free-lance work, say, data-entry, how much would you charge by the hour?

Skaarjj: It depends on a wide number of factors: local market conditions, regional average pay, complexity of the job, etc.

yeah....that's a very vague term.

in these parts "data entry" is a pretty low level (low paying) job.

find out what companies in your area are paying for the type of work you'll be doing.

it's just one company right now...and if he brings in the IT techs the group he brought his franchise off would prefer he did they'll charge him $130 an hour...And going rate for data entry around here is $25-$30 an hour...

This is pure data-entry...entering stock information for retail stores into a central database. In-house software, which pushes the prices up a little, and there is alot of data to enter...a good 50-100 hours of work.
