Anyway, arguing about your judgement on my production means wasting time that is precious. In an attempt at being useful to the most: - creativity is not bad. It is a quality, but is needed only in certain functions. Love to show off? Do it in a clean, standards compliant way, but for God's sake, DO IT. - how would I feel if I was a recruiter and the guy before me wasn't being himself? I'd have a hard time at trusting that person, for the person would obviously be "nervous" and would sound "wrong", unreal. This does not mean that you should not care about your looks, and the cleanliness of your cv: it means "don't cheat". Sell yourself, nothing more.... NOTHING LESS. This includes toy sites or anything you are proud of, and which suits a professional environment: I can easilly imagine a lot of people would stumble on a site like beyondwonderland, eventhough it is not ozones.com , for it is not your "average blog", and moves around in an original way. And would I be seeking for some webmonkey, I'd bookmark it. I just can't imagine people from banks or such contacting me about my website... then do I want to work with creativley empty white collar assholes? I can tell you, Mage, I would hate it, for your lack of open mindedness alone is.. frightfull. Loading...
