I would get rid of some of the boxes which the text looks like it should be in and just use a <DIV> with the approriate background colour. What you do with the rest is your call depending on what you were aiming at. 2. Use text-decoration: underline to replace <U> and margins and padding to replace non breaking spaces and <BR> to get horizontal and vertical spacing.
