dyZ440: I'm pretty sure I've given something that would count as a full review but I'm a little rushed now so just a few points and I'll add anything else that I notice.

1. It still looks like different elements as though they are from different sites. I like what you've done on the left so try applying that look to the main panel.

2. That over and underline feature seems to work best when the links are horizontal - when they are vertical as here it gets confusing.

3. Those blues on the right are a little harsh - the top darker one is better so if you are going for something like this stick with that.

4. You are using Tahoma and Verdanna as your fonts but they are pretty similar and I'd struggle to tell the difference if I didn't know by taking a peak. I wouldn't bother - set the font on the body tag using default fonts like Hlevetica, Arial, sans-serif.

5. Its quite a simple design and I would try and apply your new CSS skills to making it work with a CSS only layout - shouldn't be too difficult and if you are lucky it should be fairly crossbrowser.

6. I'm not sure why you have that News graphic on the left or are the sections going to be expanded?

Thats it for now. The look and the code are looking much better - keep working on it and tweaking things you are well on your way!!

Well most things down here is mostly coding so I have not been reviewing as much as I do, so a review.

Layout:

The layouts good, but there is a question "Is this page the main page, if so is it a new page?" as I see no real content apart form new update. The content is in a good place but the backgrounds of the boxes need work, because the blues get lighter, which mean it's going to get hard with choosing a text colour that does not hurt your eye or does not work with the background. I have to disagree with emp on the rollover action on your links, I link them as they are for some reason.

Graphics:
Not much graphics here but the one that are there need some work. The link heading are hard to read and the right hand blue does not match the page colours. Try matching the colour with the graphics with the page.

Browser check:

IE 6 = Fine
NS 4, NS 6 & opera = Can't see it ,downloads a file (your page file), might just be my end on this anyone else have this problem?

Overall: A good start, but change some colours to match the page and work on it a bit more and it will look better. Now I don't know about this file download thing I copy & paste your URL and went though the asylum to get at the link and it download a file with not extension on it. Now I know that brinksters free service is on win2000, which means you don't need a file extensions on the files but I have a account with them and my file work fine in NS 4, NS 6 & opera, so don't know what?s wrong there.

DS: Just checked it in Op6 and it was fine (NS6 seems not to want to come out and play tonight). Anyone else have similar problems?

i need some explanation on the difference of absolute, static and realtive positioning.

dyZ440: OK I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Positioning:

Absolute: Measurements are from the inner edges of the page.

Realtive: Measurements are from the inner edges of the containing box.

Static/Fixed: Measurements are from the inner edges of the window (this results in a look very much like you would get with frames - not well supported in recentish browsers).
