Topic: A little skin for an existing site (Page 1 of 1)

Hi all!

Every day I am wisiting this site www.serbiancafe.co.uk and I wanted to make a happy and vivid skin for it.

I did it, http://www.serbiancafe.co.uk/index.cfm?sclook=8

What do you say abour that skin, its name in english is "spring"? Compare that skin to the other skins please.

zoran: Its a nice skin (is it just the top and bottom bars and the page background or have I missed any of the other changes) akthough the changes aren't very major. Its not clear to me (language problem I'm sure) if you can design your own skins for the site or if you actually work on the site. There are a few issues with the site itself (your skins look fine) and I wonder if it is worth my while mentioning them. It would also affect my review as if you can only change certain parts of the skin then that is different to your having full control over the pages colours and graphics.

Is the site for Serbians in the UK?

Yes, this is for our people in UK and generaly for all the people who know/speak serbian languarge.

Thanks, that was just fun, I fould suggest beckground, top and bottom corner images and middle images. Unfortunitely I could not sugest css file and change colors of text and tables. This is only an aexample how is possible to "make skins" to the same site...

zoran: Thanks for the information. I suspect this kind of thing will become much more popular (and Sash's page is a great example). It is a pity that you don't have more control over the page as it does limit what you can do but that first skin is a good one (I'm not sure about some of the others listed but I suspect that is personal preference!!).
