Grew up in Säffle myself. --feeling nostalgic and home sick for a while...-- Anyway... I like the top graphic. It looks a bit "airplany". Often this sort of design doesn't really fit with the content, but I think that it works well for a flight club. One thing I do not like so much about it are the three bevelled red buttons on the top left. They look a bit cheezy to me... but maybe that is just me... I agree that it is not very optimized for 600x800. I really don't like to design for that low resolutions either, but since a majority of all web users still have that resolution, you cannot afford not to make it look good there. Also, having three seperate menues is rather confusing. I like the mouse-over effect at the top right when you move over the top menu. :) Oh, all the graphics are loading here without problem.
