Hey guys, haven't posted in a while!
I am trying to get a deal down for a flower company, and I am testing out some ideas. It is only a front page without working links. Look at the top left corner for links to the 3 pages. I'd be happy to hear what you think. http://www.dolphinstreet.com/bunches1/new/bunches5/

Cheers,

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
Don't follow his example - seek real life help first.

Option 3 has some menu problems for me. 800x600 IE6. The rest of them there are no problems.

I like Option 1. I think it looks very professional, clean and gets the message across that it's a flower company.

I like the menu. It has a little bit of a problem in Opera5. Then again what doesn't have problems with Opera 5?

Looks good!

I like the yellow/green one more, although they are both really nice. But IMHO the yellow/green is fresher, more lively and flowery and invites more for buying some of the flowers. My 2 euro cents.

rotren: All options are really tight and professional looking - well done. I like the cooler colours of option 1 and they give the focus to the flowers. I think Missterry has a point about option3 but all the warm, floral colours do draw the attention away from the actual flowers (I basically want all that top and left hand navigation to be there in the background where visitors can find it easily but I'd want everyone's eyes drawn to the bottom right area where the flowers are).

You will need keyword and description metatags.

Very nice work.

Looks great!

Simple and professional looking.
I like Option 1 best as far as looks goes, but I am thinking that Option 3 might be the best for encouraging sales?

The menu works well for me, but IMHO you need to add some cellpadding to the sub menues. They look a bit cramped with the text coming all the way out to the edges. Just a pixel or a few would make a big difference. I am not crazy about the dropshadow on the sub-menues either.

Thanks for your comments. It seems most people I've showed the pages to like the 3rd the best. More colourful. I like the others better, since I put in more work there! The dropdown menu is interesting, you can check it out at www.milonic.com/menu. I know my implementation of it needs padding though.

Thanks,

Very nice, I like them all and yes, I like your favs better! One vote for your favs!

Unfortunately the yellow / green is better for selling flowers!

Nice stuff.

Well, the client didn't like it and wanted something 'funkier and more dynamic'.... the example they gave me was http://proflower.com and http://www.aboutflowers.com
Yeah, and what's funky and dynamic with those? Arrgh! I wish I could think like a flower geek!

apparently they're talking about contrast and saturation, they didn't go for your light and airy feel. Shame that, they were both nice. I think they would like your sphincter to pucker from the vibrant festivities as soon as you enter their domain, you know, like a circus
