Topic awaiting preservation: *** JULY 2003 SIG CONTEST *** Light (Page 1 of 2)

What I would like to see is some sources of light! Illuminating brilliance is what I am aiming for..... Examples: Flashlights, lightbulbs, lamps.... even fireworks if ya want... Anything that brightens up this world will do.

No real restrictions other than -- No repeats. That is all I ask for...

Now go and light up our lives...

LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Hey all,

Have to head to the states for a funeral so I wanted to get my entry in early this month. Working on size and filesize. I just keep making these things too big!

Anyway, here it is...

Wolfen, this was a good topic... I wanted to get mine in early 'cause I'm getting ready to go off on vacation for 2 weeks myself, then when I come back, we get into the first payment deadline for the upcoming Fall semester... You guys probably won't hear from me much in the next 6 weeks or so... When I get a couple minutes I'll probably poke me head in though...

I was playing around with PS, searching for a logo for my website... When I found this. It is not what I originally planed for this month, but I think it fits.

Moth, I like the fireworks idea, but I think the lense flare doesn't quite work. Looks more like a "strange lights in the sky" effect than fireworks. You need more sparky things.

If you don't mind a critique, that is. If you do mind, you can tell me to feck off...

edit: Hmm... getting a weird flash in the upper-left. I'll have to track that bad boy down. Maybe add a few more zaps while I'm at it. Other than that wayward flash, I'm liking it.
