Topic: POW Week 1: Water (Page 1 of 1)

Ok, here we go. I hope there's enough interest to keep this going.

POW = Photo Of the Week and this week's subject is water.

Guidelines:
1. Photo needs to go along with the subject in some way.
2. Use thumbnails for photos with any dimension larger than 450 px or over 40 kb.
3. Post as many as you want.
4. At the end of the week the person who chose the topic will pick someone to choose the next topic. This isn't a "winner," just someone who gets to suggest the next topic.
5. No critiques (unless requested) this is just to share our photos.
6. No sigs.

So having said that, let's get going. I love photos of water so show me what you got!

This one was taken in Sonora, CA along a river there. It was absolutely beautiful along this river. More pics are here.


The fountains at the Bellagio. If you ever go to Vegas this is an incredible show. More here.

Great idea Krets. I want to open up a few threads this week for critiques, help and getting started links.

This is one of my personal favorites I've done with water. I love doing waterdrops !

Nice idea. Love that moss picture - at first glance it looks like a view of earth from space =)

One question though - 40 mb?? Is it safe to assume you mean 40 kb? Or perhaps 4 mb?

Umm how about frozen water... as in SNOW! (this is my first time working with a camera like this...) This was a picture taken of my front yard several weeks ago. A front yard in bloomington minnesota...
