Right, this is a bit of a tricky one. Try to record elements of your daily life spontaneously, snapshots which capture who you are; carry your camera around with you everywhere* you go and just snap any tiny detail or event that you think represents you or your interests/preoccupations/fetishes.
Most important things: (1) don't think too much and (2) experiment with composition - the most striking and unusual the better. Stylistically, it's a free-for-all (but no Photoshopping except for simple darkroom alterations!). Don't worry about camera settings, and all that - concentrate on capturing the moment.
(I know this is an unuaual POW, but I think you guys might enjoy it )

HumanShield for 'Exit', a wonderfully mundane depiction of office boredom!
Why did I choose it? Well, the picture's pretty boring itself and that totally heightened the mood you must have been feeling that day. Because of that, it was the most personal and expressive photo of the lot and gave me a flavour of your life more than any of the other ones. But don't take it to heart!
See? Good photos don't have to be technically brilliant, don't have to have MAD-SUPER-MACRO mode turned on and all that!
Ah no, really, it was the best photo so he deserves to win. I'm off on holidays now so you better just get hold of him or just well, I give you the power to pick someone yourself if HumanShield doesn't respond in 24 hours!
