I've had problems downloading from the site. I managed to get one complete download, but after setup it reported an error and would not run, I'll have to try again later. Thanks for the news C:\ |

I know it would totally rub certain individuals the wrong way but I personally think it'd be cool if they'd include support for connecting email to an exchange server... *ducks head waiting for other Asylumites to throw stuff* |

Boudga: In thunderbird? There might be patches/plugins/extensions that could do that. Why are you ducking? Is that some MS server? |

Yeah, usually the Linux and OpenSource people get testy when MS is mentioned... |

Since this is the hottest browser in a long time, and they just released the new veriosn today, I think it's fair to assume that there will be a greta deal of traffic. . . |

I also didn't like the changing of the name. What FireFox has better than FireBird? I can't see anything. BTW, they changed the name but forgot to change the about:mozilla message. |

*: The mirror is mainly intended for the inmates of the Asylum. That server is fast and Mozilla's ones were struggling.. I'll remove the file in few days. quote:

I just noticed the ftp.mozilla.org mirrors page. /!\ not all the mirrors are actually up to date, but check 3-4 ones and you'll find FireFox. Nonetheless, with the rush on Mozilla's official mirrors, it's still worth to pick it on my mirror if you have a broadband connection ( ~60Kb/s ) |

I cann't believe the speed .. or maybe it's just my tired eyeballs here. I stopped using FB because it took so long to start up. I can get used to this one easily -click on the icon and it is up and running. Nice nice |

FWIW, I tried download off of your mirror poi and I was getting a whopping 0.5 kbps (56k modem here). The main download page on the mozilla site worked just fine though. |

[edit] Stupid self! I meant CAMERON: not sib:. Sorry sib. [/edit] I tried to download it from my mirror again ( after clearing all my caches ), and got it between 50 and 85 Kb/s. I've got a 128Kb/s, and the host is ( one of ) the most reliable French ISP in term of bandwidth and cost. |

For the Extension error. If you are using firebird and then go to install firefox you will have problems if you did not disable all of your extensions in firebird before you did the install. quote:
