Anyone know where I can find a decent tutorial on how to create a LCD screen. Thanks a bunch in advance

maybe a bit OT: but does anyone know how to clean LCD displays? mine is getting a little dusty with the time and i dont find the manual anymore.

1) get an LCD screen to look at.

2) make your image look like it.

All done.

(I mean...it's like 2 colors, and maybe a glare....)

Okay, as for what you're trying to do, if you look at all the tutorials posted here they all look pretty much the same. I implore you to learn the underlying technique instead of just robotically following instructions.

perhaps next someone will write a "how to wipe your ass" tutorial.

Wiping Ass Tut

Step 1: Take one piece of tiolet paper (seperate it where the serations are).

Step 2: Fold in half, then fold it in half again.

Step 3: Tear the corner off, where the folded area is (there's only one corner like this...it will be the 'center' of the unfolded paper...)

Step 4: Stick index finger through the hole (but first unfold the paper...don't throw the torn off part away..you'll need it later )

Step 5: Clean oriface thoroughly...then, pull the paper up along the finger, cleaning it, as well...

Step 6: Remember that small piece of paper? Well, here's where it comes into use...use it to clean under your fingernail...

And there you have it!

Great link about LCD technology! I always wondered how they make those LCD shapes float...and even cast shadows! Always figured it was magic!
