All the Flash toys like this tend to be like that. I would have thought that it should be technically possible for Flash to assemble variables relating to the various building blocks and then send them a server-side language which could then create a gif (PHP and GD?) and then allowthe user to download the finished graphic no? Time for 'Doctor Ozone's Amazing Asylum Inmate Creator Machine' idea again?

InI: It sounds like I wouldn't like to meet your Lego alter-ego on a dark night.

I think the problem with the saving business is that does require quite a bit of cross-disciplinary skills - however, we have that here in bucketloads so it might be something to look into (esp. as Weadah and GRUMBLE are in charge of the pixel people and are also our experts on Flash/server-side interaction ). The Superhero Machine had a feature which would let you save the settings for the machine and the next step from that would be feeding those settings into a backend script that would build the graphic. I did raise this idea a year ago but based on DHTML rather than Flash but I have had a chance to play with Flash/PHP interactions recently and I believe it is doable.

Anyone interested? It would allow everyone to have fun creating clothing/props so we could all get involved
