is there a way to save the photoshop image as gif without a backgruound ? |

chose file>save for web and make sure the 'transparency' box is checked. if you're in something less than photoshop 5.5, then you'll have to use the export>gif89 and play with the settings there. |

in Photoshop 6 when you save as a transparent gif make sure that your matte color is the color of the background you are wanting your gif to be transparent over |

umm...you do that in 5.5 too...and 5. and 4, from what i remember.. |
