Perhaps a gif overlay of a neutral shadow to imply free-flow of material on those unisex versions could be added. |

Thumper: Thats all a good idea but the current push is to develop a protoype and make sure the client-side and server-side coding is all working nicely. We can play with the prototypes and add complexity once we have the whole thing figured out - some things may not be practical to implement so we want to keep it simple at this stage. That way we will be able to play around with the basic system to see what is and isn't pratical. Lets be honest of we went for 3 different builds and 3 different heights on two different silhouettes then each item of clothing would have to be done 19 times and the coding could get exponentially more complex but they are issues we will deal with once we know we can get the basic setup working. |

DG's idea to keep the same silhouette sounds good but doesn't really work with the existing models. I agree that if both were made more androgynous that would be a good idea. |

Blimey there are a lot of eager beavers - good work Thumper that should come in handy at some point but for now we really do have to have unisex clothing and a more similar male and female template (although that is getting there) so that we can make sure that everything works together properly. |

I am going to go 100% with DL-44 on this, in that inevitably the finished work should have 2 separate forms. Even though most of the anatomy is wrong in these people, 2 and 2 is 4. A starved skin and bone male will always look like a male, and an obese woman will always look like a woman. You have hips and waist to account for as well, and the female form (obese or not) is severely more pronounced than a male's. |

vr: The reason I've asked for them to be similar is that we aren't creating a finsihed version for the Asylum we are creating a prototype version and by keeping the two figures similar we make the coding much simpler. Once we have a working prototype then we can work on making more complex pixel people and a more complex code but for now we really need to keep things simple. |

How exactly are you supposed to make a male and female look similiar. I think it would be a good idea to have two seperate entities, with different clothes for each. I know the coding would be harder, but it seems almost necessary. |

GN: If you look at the original stortroopers you'll see they were actually similar. Once we have things working properly then we can work on adding more differences, etc. but at this stage it is just adding extra complication - I'm just trying to get things moving and the more complications at this stage the less likely it is that anything is going to happen. Remember this is only for the prototype and not the finished product. |
