what should i do? it won't show my sig!

Cut this... paste it into your signature profile.
Remove all the spaces and edit with your URL info & file name and you should be set.

you are referring to the free sig hosting, of course.
Did you actually read the information that is on the page when you upload?
I'm guessing that you've attempted to use your sig elsewhere (because you only have one post here)
.. And if you read what the page says........ a sig that is linked to any place other than the Asylum, will not be shown.

what is the file name of your sig?


and just out of curiosity.... how did you find out about the sig hosting? =)

Interesting...Somebodys sig hosting service, I forgot whos, led me to the Asylum. Interestingly enough, though, I had frequented the Doc's site for over a year prior.

I think you have the wrong end of the stick. I have updated the relevant FAQ:

and Michael has changed his sig hosting page details so things are clearer but let me spell it out:

There are a number of sig hosting services - as some of the popular older services went down some of the inmates stepped into the breach.

Now some of the sig hosting (twitch^'s and any others in that section) allow anyone, whether they are a member or not, to upload sigs which can be used on any board (as long as you abide by any other terms and conditions there may be).

Others, like Michael's and JKMabry's will only work here on this board - if you want to host sigs to use elsewhere then use another service.

I hope this has cleared up any confusion.

Also, please learn to respect my, and the other inmates', eyes... That image shouldn't be used as a sig.

Yannah: If you want to have a sig hosted to show on another site then use on of the services which does allow you to link to other sites - I have now tried to be as explicit as possible in the FAQ.

so those images are going to turn into big annoying pumpkins quite quickly.

[edit: and as quirky a pop pixie as she is the sig is awful and it may suit another forum (God forbid) but we like to make inmates leave offensive weapons at the door]

[edit2: To my suprise the site is quite nicely done - they have gone for restrained colours and design and I think you should also think about using a sig that would fit in with their colour scheme and design a bit better - perhaps it was a good thing that you couldn't post it]
