At first I read this the wrong way... which gave me an idea. Since it's very hard to compete with every sig ever used in the asylum, my idea is this; Everyone who wishes to compete, post your own, selfmade favourite sig in this thread. The work you are most proud of. Everyone only has ONE submission, so choose wisely. People will have 3 (three) days to post their submission (so hopefully nobody will miss out). Even if you think for yourself that you absolutely have no chance of winning, post it anyway. Just like with the monthly sig contest, the winner can be quite surprising.

I figure after the three days of submissions, a voting thread can be created. Usual rules apply; no self-voting, one vote per person.

If there are any questions or quibbles, please post them in this thread, since I would like to use this thread for the contestants only. (Which also means that post without a submission will be deleted.)

EDIT: Also, if anyone has a sig he / she wishes to submit, but has no webspace to put it anywhere, you can mail it to me, so I will host it for you. Contest submissions only, only ONE sig per person, and the maximum submission size is 60 KB. Please put [sig contest submission : (insert your ozone username here) ] in the subject field. This seems fair to me, so that anyone can participate. Also, please only serious submissions.

My submission is this girl:
I spent three solid days working on her, possibly even longer. I started out with a wacky idea, and in the end it all went right (something which I had not expected at all) it was a buttload of work, airbrushing every frame by hand, but it was more than worth it.

Man, I've almost got too many to pick as a favorite. I guess my favorite would have to be the one that I've used the longest. Rather, the second longest. My first sig ever is the one that lastest the longest, but I'm really enjoying my current sig. Simple, elegant, and it speaks of me on a certain level.

Well I've been gone a bit too long, there so much new stuff here. O_o Anyway, my favorite would have to be my brooch sig I did for the jewelry contest. Gah, it's so inferior to everything else I've seen lately. -_- It's a bit big, so maybe I'll resize it tomorrow.

Well, can I submit two? (Edit: Guess not, I took one out...)

The first is the one I did for Insider. I just spent a lot of time on it and painted, and masked, and tweaked, and fixed, and fudged, and tweaked again so much till I got it how I wanted. I really liked how it turned out... (Edit: Guess I was chastized again... Deleted one I liked of InSiDeR's.)

Then of my own, I like the one that I just made for last month's contest.




(Edit: Sorry for double submission. Guess I just can't break into the old boy's network on this board. Seems to be a serious seperation between some of the members here. Of course that's just my opinion, I could be and probably am wrong...)

Well, if we're talking favorites, here's mine. It didn't win the sig competition due to the size, but I see no size limits here. Although, I did manage to bring it down to a not so nasty 30k.

That is a beautiful sig!!

Well, it's a pretty easy choice for me:



Allow me to point out the biggest problem with this sig: it's way too huge (240K!) to actually be a *sig*. But it's my personal favorite out of my own collection anyway.

well this is my fave.. my current one. I spent a lot of time modelling my daily driver in Lightwave, then used it my sig. I like it better on my Mini forums coz "Lurch" is black so its more like a road, but i like this version too

not so much my favorite as the only one i've done. Must get my butt into gear and create some new ones

Well, since I just have one sig that I use for myself, I choose to go with the one I made for Shii for a sig-contest.



Took a bit of time to finish, and my guess is that it looks more like my hand than Shii's
