i built a site for free for the British Car club i'm in... please take a look and give it a review...

keep in mind that I sent a survey to all club members and they all had IE5.5 or above... it does work in nn 4.7 though. just not as nice. There is not much info on there now, but please do take a look

Hey.
Not bad. Some quick suggestions though...

  • I know you don't have much flexibility with the logo, but how about cleaning it up a bit? For example: the text is a bit crusty around the edges, and why not make the sun look a bit more interesting?
  • Put a border around the boxes you are using to put text in. I think a border adds a bit of definition and controls the users attention.
  • My last gripe would be to make it bigger. I'm running on a huge resolution (1400x1050), and I must say, it's a tiny site

I like the idea of a random background image, but... is it working correctly? I keep getting the same picture.

Other than that, keep up the good work!

I think its too small too...

the random bg I did in php and it only gives you a new bg if you restart the browser and go back to the site. that way it doesn't have to load a new bg every page you go to on the site..

I'll have a go with the borders

thanks
