Ok i read those rules of sort posted by taxon and i will try and go by them.

Here is my site. I would like one of you fine people to check it out and do tell what you think i need to do. I am a little dissappointed in myself because i was going to attempt the purchase of a domain this weekend or week but my main source of income was cut today. like ive probably said before. My mother pays me for my grades. A's & B's tget me 100 dollars and all A's get me 200. I got 100 dollars.

Im getting sidetracked. ok look i made my site using adobe photoshop and tables. The news is in an iframe and there are menus on the right. That i hope gives a basic site description on coding and design.

As for a theme. My site is going to eventually be a music site. Rock and Metal. I will have a database of sorts with bands and albums. The site will also have a forum to talk about music and i will have some kind of web design division so i can maybe earn some money that way.

Im sure those of you that have seen my previous post i have mentioned a database but never actually went on to create it. Now that i have more time on my hands and im also more dedicated to getting the damn thing started, i will beging by making out pages for my cd case. and eventually start adding bands and albums people send me.

I can see the database in my head and i know how im going to structure it. I will go into more detail later on.

ok well here is the link:

PT: Glad to see you posting the next version of your site but I must say although I like the colours and graphics I do think it is a step in the wrong direction (at least from a cross-browser/usability front) - some quick thoughts (its late):

1. Splash screen.

2. Pop up.

3. Iframe.

The previous version(s) was very good (nice clean look, CSS layout, etc.) and now I end up with a thin strip of a website in a pop up window with an iframe (who's bottom is below the level of the window in Op6 with the ads). Its your baby but I did like your previous approach and I'm not so enamoured of this incarnation.

I might feel a little more warmly after some sleep but...

Anyway I'll be interested to see how the database comes along.

Emps I appreciate the comments. the only reason i used an iframe and a pop up is that with what i was trying to achieve this seemed the only way to do it.But like i said i really appreciate the comments and i will think about my site design.

Damn Rock on dude, I like your design as far as Cobain nd Ozzy's concern on the edge! But the pop up script is kinda annoying man, you can do iframing w/o using those popups, just figure it out!

The color is nice (4 sweet sucky ass hiphop music), but don't you think a metal site should be in black/white/dark orange and red? I think it will bring out more Metal on your site if you decided to change some colorings.

I can help you w/ some additional graphic designing if you wish, besides , WE BOTH RULE HEAVY!

PT: Having to use a pop up to get the design to work should suggest that your thinking a little too 'print'. Design for the medium so pos. think about some kind of tiling background with your main part of the page positioned centrally and possibly some kind of scrolling layer (zscrollbars?) instead of the iframe.

blacksoulsunday: We've already had the red, grey and orange designs (which I prefered to this one) - good call on that though and a generous offer to help.

[by the way they aren't rules - more guidelines to help you get the best out of the review process]
