It just doesn't seem like there's anything holding it together, you know--no cohesiveness. A bunch of design elements that went on a three-hour tour and got stranded on this uncharted web page. It also took me a little while to figure out what was clickable and what wasn't. People look at the top of a website first, and I was mousing over the orange text ("graphic design" and "web, flash, print") trying to figure out why I couldn't click on them. It was only after that that I saw the buttons on the bottom. I would just flip the top and the bottom, for starters. Oh yeah, the rotating ball thingy threw me off, too. I would have thought for sure it would be clickable. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you've got five different fonts going there (maybe six if you count that word--is it "hype"?--half hidden in the center). You might be able to get away with four of them, but the comic sans style one (I'm not a font expert, so I don't know what font that is exactly, but it looks like a comic sans-type thing--the one you used for "HOME" and the orange text at the top) just doesn't seem to fit. Secondly, technical stuff aside, I'm not sure if this is the sort of copy you want on your front page. The whole tone of it just doesn't seem that professional to me, especially the part about doing freebies. I'm not in the web design business, but I would imagine that saying on your front page that you do freebies is probably a no-no. I'm assuming from what I've seen that you don't have much content up yet (at least, I couldn't find any). Honestly, I don't have all that much of a problem with the fact that it's Flash. I think Flash can be a very useful tool. The points I made above, in fact, have nothing to do with Flash. Like I said, I'm not in the web design business, so if what I said can help you in some way, use it.
