Topic: Band Website (Page 1 of 1)

Hi all. Long time reader, first time poster.

Was wondering if I could get some c&c on my band's new website, i'm not exactly the best with graphics so I tend to keep most of my designs simple. Only the "news" and "links" links work at the moment as everything will be converted to PHP.

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.

I'd have to agree about the border, 5 minutes implementing that well would definately be worth it, especially when you get more content in there. Otherwise I think it looks very good, apart from one thing. The position of the grey bar that has "MANIFEST" written on it just doesn't seem right. I'd say it needs moving up a little, or off the picture (below the picture like the nav is above, or the same but with the nav and title swapped round). It seemed like a minor nigle to me to, but for some reason it just kept on jumping out.

EDIT: Actually, just looked at your code, and doing it with <div>s not tables would be so much more efficient, especially for a site as uncomplicated in design as this. Otherwise I like it very much.

Thanks again for the feedback, i'll have a play with what you suggested, got a while before it goes live anyway.

I like is just how it is.... but...

It's a nice clean webby but it just doen't seem like a band website. More like a personal journal for someone with a green thumb. It lacks character, class, style, funk, whatever...

I'm hoping the band's music feels 100 time better than that website cause that does nothing for me bar remind me that I need to weed my garden.
