It is improved. However, I don't claim to be a great designer, but as a user, I prefer not to have new pop-up windows, like your Forum link (except for some things like definitions or brief explanations). Just use the same window. |

Homicidal Jester: I do not think it was the "right-click protection" that set most people off here--at least I know that isn't what did it for me. Granted, it is highly doubtful if the minimal "benefits" of right-click protection outweigh the drawbacks, but let us leave that argument aside for the moment. It wasn't so much what you did, but the way you did it. Not only did you disable a basic element of browser functionality, but you spit in the user's face while doing so. Had you merely disabled right-clicking and popped up a single alert notifying the user of that fact I would have thought, 'Hmm... bad design decision,' and then told you so as part of my review. |
