I like the way you managed to take something that's really quite simple and straightforward and make it interesting to look at by using small simple steps. The design in itself both places a good emphasis on the navigation and lot's of room for the content. Some quick thoughts: The colors go well together, personally I'd go for a slightly more "pastel" feel of the bg, a wee bit lighter blue might reduce the very slight clash that blue and yellow tones can produce. The only problem thing I see is that in the page "galleries" the design falls apart when you don't have enough images. If I were you I'd start listing the images further down, perhaps even as far down as the extension of the bottom border in the menu. Just as you start the first line of text on the about page. That way you can extend a natural line of the page for the eye to follow. Other than that, nice!
