If the "nostalgia" were presented in a way that didn't make me want to shove slivers of bamboo up under my fingernails I would have fully and truly appreciated it. It was most certainly not presented in such a way, and that is the reason for such harsh reviews, not some nonsense about none of us "getting" what he's trying to do.
